• Notes

  According to the 1901 Census, Michel and Malvina owned a three-room house with four outbuildings plus another house on 100 acresof Concession 2, Lot 73, in southeast Armagh. They also rented an adjoining 100 acreswith one outbuilding. On 22 Nov 1909, Michel and 3 of his children travelled to the US via the port ofNewport, VT. They were headed from St Philemon, QC, to Michel's brother Edouard ARBOUR in Pawtucket, RI. They had all previously beenin the RI in 1899. Michel was notedas being 5'8" tall with a dark complexion, dark brown hair, and brown eyes. Amedee was noted as having a medium complexion, brown hair, and brown eyes. Olympe was noted as being 5'5" tall with a dark complexion, dark brown hair, and brown eyes. Williamine was noted as being 5'5" tall with a medium complexion, brown hair, and brown eyes.
