  Arthur was a crew member aboard the MS Thunderer when it sailed from Honolulu, HI, on 24 Jul 1945, and arrived in San Franscico, CA, on 01 Aug 1945. The 17-year old was listed as a Utilityman on this ship operated by the Danish Ship Operating Corporation, USA, amid a very multi-cultural crew. ___Courant (CT) -- 24 Jan 1995 ARBOUR. Arthur L. Arbour, 66, of West Chesterfield, NH, died 22 Jan 1995, in Lebanon, NH. Born in New Britain, helived for many years in Newington, and moved to West Chesterfield, NH, in 1994. His father, Alec, isdeceased. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII, a member of Hartford Fire Department after WWII, and was a truckdriver for 40 yearsfor Lombard Truckingand North Penn. He was a member of Teamsters Local 671. He is survived by his mother, Lea (Pouliot) Arbour of Newington; sons, David of San Diego, CA, Alec, and Marc, both of New Britain; daughters, Sandra of Burlington,and Stacey of Melville, NY;granddaughter, Cassandra Marquis; and longtime companion, Gertrude Pelletier of New Hampshire. A memorial service will be at a date and time to be announced.
