He had been in ailing health for some time. Mr. Arbour was employed withthe Federal District Commission for the past 14 years, prior to whch he worked for theBell Telephone Company of Ottawa since 1883. His passing will be mourned by the entire Eastview community, where during his 60years' residence, he took an active part in municipal affairs and enjoyed the esteem of a host of friends. Born in Gaspe,QC, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Augustin Arbour, where he spent the early part ofthis life. He was a member of the Union of St Joseph and St Vincent dePaul's Society. Besides his widow, the former Amanda Beausejour, he issurvived byfour sons, Ernest, Felix, Antonio, and Armand Arbour, all of Eastview; and two daughters, Mrs. J N Sauve, Ottawa, and Mrs. L. Perriard, Sault Ste Marie, QC. The funeral will takeplace on Friday morningfrom the parlors of Gauthier and Company, 259StPatrick St, to St Charles' church, where requiem high mass will be celebrated at 8 o'clock. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. ___ In the 1891 OttawaDirectory, Felix owned a home on the east side of Beechwood Ave in Ottawa. In the1898 Ottawa Directory, Felix owned a home on Beechwood Ave in Clarkston Village, a suburb of Ottawa with a postal address of Cummings Bridge.
