  Thunder Bay Chronicle-Journal (ON) -- 30 Apr 1986 ARBOUR -- Mr. Homer Arbour, age 79 years of 169 University Drive, formerly of 1515 Euclid Avenue, passed away in hospital on Tuesday, 29 Apr 1986, after a short illness. Born in Gaspe, QC, he came to the Lakehead in 1921, where he worked at Canada Car and Foundry for over 30 years. Survived by 2 daughters, Florence, Mrs. Maurice Bordun, and Rose, Mrs. Guy McLean, both of Thunder Bay; 3 sons, Arthur and wife Arlene of Brandon, MB (en route), Maurice and wife Noella of Thunder Bay, and WilfredofCambridge, ON (en route); 20 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren;1 sister, Louise Breiland; 4 brothers, Reg, Wilfred, Dona, and George;nieces and nephews also survive. Predeceased by his wife Mary in 1979,2 daughters Dorothy Breiland and Doris McConnell, his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister in infancy, 2 brothers Lionel and Ashadore. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 1 May 1986, at 10:30 am in the EverestFuneral Chapel with Father J. Muldoon officiating. Interment RiversideCemetery.
