  Kennebec (ME) Journal -- 24 Sep 1993 ARTHUR R. ARBOUR Hallowell -- Arthur R. "Jimmy" Arbour, 74, of 47 Middle St., died 23 Sep 1993, at Kennebec Valley Medical Center, Augusta, after a long illness. He was born in Augusta, 5 Aug 1919, the son of Francois and Olivine (Pare) Arbour. A member of St Augustine Catholic Church, Mr. Arbour hadbeen employed by Fort Western Tire Company for several years. He previously was employed for many years by Bates Manufacturing Company. His wife Lauretta (Douin) Arbour, died 15 June 1988. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Jon (Gloria) Shoemaker of Lewiston; three brothers, Leo Arbour, Omer Arbour, and Armand Arbour, all of Augusta; two grandchildren, Tracy and Todd Shoemaker of Lewiston; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may visit today from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Plummer Funeral Home, 16Pleasant St., Augusta. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 am Saturday at St Augustine Catholic Church. Burial will be in St Augustine Cemetery.
