The Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial was offered Tuesday at St Patrick's Church in Williamstown, MA, for Henry J. Arbour, 71, of BulkcleySt, Williamstown, a native of Stamford, who died Monday at the North Adams, MA, Regional Hospital.A son ofthe late Mose and Phoebe (LaPorte)Arbour, he was better known as \\"Brownie.\\" He spent his early yearsin North Pownal, and had worked in variousrestaurants in Williamstown and North Adams. A veteran of WWII, he served in the Coast Guard. His wife, the former Daisy Rosenburg, died in 1936. He leaves a son Henry ofNorth Adams, a daughter Mrs.Verne Roy of Rexford, NY, two grandchildren, and a brother Fred, also of North Adams. Memorial contributions may be made to theNorthern Berkshire unit of the American Cancer Society orSt Patrick's Church building fund through the Quinn Funeral Home in Williamstown.
