Please pass onto your father. (Mom) Frances Arbour, passed away last night in Meadow Park nursing home in Chatham. We were there visiting on Tuesday and the doctor said her body was shutting down, natural process for a 94 yr. old in her condition. Just heading to Chatham then Tecumseh to make arrangements for the funeral. We visited with Jean as well and she is progessing slowly. Ditched her walker and is driving again locally for short trips.

Excerpts from online Guestbook:
29 August 2009 -- My sympathies to the family. I have very fond memories of Mrs. Arbour. She lived down the street and you couldn't meet nicerpeople than Sid and Frances. It was a joy to me growing up to have them as friends. Gone but not forgotten!!! Renee St Pierre, Windsor, Ontario
To Bob and Liz: Jean and Family -- Our deepest sympathy: Frances and Sid will always be in our hearts. We lived in the white house beside themin Tecumseh, raising two boys in the 60s. The thoughtfulness and kindness, especially to Todd (ourson) whois a Doctor now. also our other Son, Tim, who is a Doctor also. We spent many happy times with them, until we built our home in Windsor. In our prayers --------- Bill and BetteSands.
