Augusta -- Muriel I. Biron Arbour, 84, of Purington Ave, died Tuesday, 23 May, at her home after a brief illness. She was born in Lewiston on 14 March 1916 the daughter of Romuald and Elize (Alaine) Biron. Mrs. Arbour attended Lewiston schools and was a homemaker for most of her life. She was a communicant of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, a member of the St. Andrew's Senior Citizen Club, Cushnoc Senior Citizens and Happy Family Senior Citizens. Mrs. Arbour was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed a zest for life that delighted all that knew her. Mrs. Arbour is survived by a son, David R. and his wife Laurie of Concord, CA; four daughters, Geraldine A. Poulin and her husband Robert of South Burlington,VT, Sandra D. Arbour of Hanau, Germany, Patricia A. Fox and her husband Richard of Andover, MA, and Carol A. Albert and her companion Fred Anderson of Weeks Mills; a brother-in-law, Roger Arbour of Augusta; nine grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Poulin, Rob Poulin, Barbara Poulin Lavoie, Michele K. Fox, Lisa Fox Finneran, Melinda J. Fox, DerekJ. Albert, Brian D. Arbour and Michael T. Arbour; a great-grandson, Benjamin M. Lavoie; several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, formerAugusta Police Chief Edouard D. Arbour; and a brother, Laurier Biron.
