You probably know more than me.My great grandmother's name was Annie (Anna) Demers. By family records she was born about 1872. Unknown where.She died Aug 29, 1909 in Stoney Point. She married Etienne Ranger Aug 14 1893 in Stoney Point. Family records have her as the daughter of Jeremie Demers and Denise Laramee. Nothing is known about Jeremie Demers (Demarce) but we have Denise Laramee(Laramee) being born about 1826.Jeremie and Denise had 5 children that are known.1) Annie (Anna) 1872 - 19092) Denise Beaulieau3) Rose Lalonde4) Minnie Trudelle5) JimmieIn my searches I did find aJeremie Demers who was the son of Peter Demers andAngelique Lefebvre. All the information available is that Jeremie married Marie-Marcelline Ranger Jan 16 1849 St Jean Baptiste L'Original ON. Shewas born Jun 10 1824 and died Aug 20 1885.Unless this Jeremie had 2 wives I can't figure out if it'sthesame person but if it means anything. I am also related to Lefebvres.Rangers, Lefebvres, Demers and Laramees were all in the same area around the mid 1800's.
