Notes - On 1 Jun 1914, Stanley returned to Canada aboard a ferry via Windsor, ON. He had apparently been working in Detroit, MI, as a chef (spelled sheff) and had $100 with him.
On 27 Apr 1921, Stanley traveled to the US via Sault Sainte Marie, MI. He claimed that he had been with his wife at 183 Pine St, Sault Sainte Marie, ON, and that he was going to visit his uncle Albert LEBLANC c/o Baker Company in Green Bay, WI. Stanley was noted to be 5' 8 1/2" with a medium complexion, brown hair, and grey eyes. He was a clerk with $100 in his pocket.
On 24 Dec 1921, Stanley returned to the US via the port of Sault SainteMarie, MI. He had been visiting his wife in Sault Sainte Marie, ON, at183 Pine Ave, and was headed for Green Bay, WI, to stay for 3 weeks with his uncle Albert LEBLANC.He was noted as being 5'8" tall with a medium complexion, brown hair, and grey eyes. He had $100 in his pocket.
In 1940, Stanley reported that he had earned $1,552 in 1939.
At the time of Maud's death, there were 24 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.[obit]

27 March 1891 -- Born in Waubaushene, Ontario, Edmond "Stanley" ARBOUR was the eldest of 6 children of sawyer Edmond ARBOUR and Marie-Alcuine LeBLANC. On 1 June 1914, Stanley returned to Canada aboard a ferry via Windsor, ON. He had apparently beenworking in Detroit, MI, as a chef and carried $100 with him. Several years later, he was reportedly workingas a clerk and salesman when he married 29-year old Mary Agnes "Maud" HAZEL on 14 July 1919 in Sault Sainte Marie, ON. Stanleywas again working as a clerk on 24 December 1921, when he returned to the US via the port of Sault Sainte Marie, MI. He had been visiting his wife in Sault Sainte Marie, ON, and was headed for Green Bay, Wisconsin, to stay for 3weeks with his uncle Albert LEBLANC. He was noted as being 5'8" tall with a medium complexion, brown hair, and grey eyes. He had $100 in his pocket. Despite all this traveling, Stanley and Maud were together often enough that they were still able to have6children, 1 daughter and 5sons. Their eldest child was born in Sault Sainte Marie, ON, in 1920; thenext 3 were born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, from 1921 to 1927; and the last 2 were born in Michigan in 1929 and 1930, when Emil worked as a traveling tool salesman. Having livedin the US almost continuously for 20 years, Stanley finally filed his petition for US Citizenship on 07 November 1940. Stanley died in Michigan sometime between 1960 and 1971. Maudwas 90-years old when she died on 15 March 1980 in Farmington, MI.Stanley and Maud are responsible for 25 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
