  Thunder Bay (ON) Chronicle-Journal -- 05 Apr 1997 ARBOUR -- George John Arbour, age 72, passed away at St Joseph's Hospice on Wednesday, 2 April 1997. Born in Port Arthur, 10 January 1925. Served in the Canadian Army during WWII. Retired from Saskatchewan Wheat Pool. Dad enjoyed spending time fishing and hunting. Predeceased by his wife Betty (Wright), brothers, and recently sister Louise (Breiland). Survived by brothers Dona and Reg. He will be missed by son Wayne (Susan), daughter Evelyn Peters (Wayne), 5 grandchildren Krissy, Jennifer, Melissa, Adam, and Laura, all of Sault Ste Marie. Cremation to take place. Memorial services at a later date. Special thanks to Mr. Agner Olson,Uncle Dona, Auntie Beth, Gladys Tinsley, and all the support staff at the hospice.
