  Montmorency County Tribune (Atlanta, MI) -- 20 Aug 2003 Gerald "Jerry" Arbour, Sr., 60, of Atlanta passed away 15 August 2003 at his residence. Jerry was born 10 August 1943 in Garden City, Michigan. The son of Emil and Cecilia (Guertin) Arbour, he workedas a carpentermost of his life; however, for thepast three years he was a custodial employee with the Atlanta Community Schools. Jerry was an active memberof the Atlanta Senior Citizens, often helping with bingo. He is survived by his wife, the former Betty Montague, whom he married 2 Nov 1991inAtlanta; sons, JJ Arbour, Dale (Joy) Mink, and William (Sheline) Mink,all of Atlanta, and Roy (Patricia) Mink of Sterling Heights, MI; sevengrandchildren; his mother, Cecilia Stinehart; brothers Phillip (Patricia) Arbour ofPerry, MI, and Peter (Katherine) Arbour of Wichita, KS: and sisters, Elsie Arbour and Cynthia Arbour, both of Atlanta, and Linda (Mrs. William) Caprathe of Bay City, MI. Jerry was preceded in death byhis father, Emil; son, David Mink; and brothers, Kent, Ralph, William,and Victor Arbour. The funeral was held Tuesday, 19 August, at Green funeral home with Fr. Vianney Sipulski, OFM, officiating. Burial in Briley Township Cemetery.
