  Sam was at home with his parents during the 1901 Census, but he seems to have set out on his own after that. By 1908, he was working as a lumberman in Little Current, ON, located on Manitoulin Islandin the Manitoulin District. Dorothy 1923 - 1993 ___ Bio from Facebook on 29 April 2010: 29 April 1878 -- Born in Port Severn, Ontario, Samuel Basile ARBOUR wasthe 5th of 7 children of farmer and mill worker Basile ARBOUR and his wife Ann Jane MOONEY. Sam was at home with his parents inWaubaushene during the 1901 Census, but heseems tohave set out on his own after that. By 1908, he was working as a lumberman in Little Current, ON, locatedon Manitoulin Island in the Manitoulin District. On 23 March 1908, Sammarried 20-year old Martha Ann WILKIN in Little Current.Their family expanded almost immediately with the birth of their first son less than 3 months later. He was followed by 2 brothers and a sister. Sam and family left the Little Current area at some point after 1911. They were found in Sault Sainte Marie, ON, by 1919and thereafter until Sam's deathin 1942. Martha passed away in 1954. Both of them were buried in Old Greenwood Cemetery in Sault Sainte Marie. They are responsible for 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
