GRAND JURY FOR SARATOGA COUNTY INDICTS ELEVEN -- Group Will Be Arraigned Monday In Supreme Court At Ballston
Eleven persons were indicted by the Saratoga County Grand Jury yesterday on charges from grandy larceny to attempted rape. They will be arraigned Monday at 1 pm before Justice Andrew P. MECHANICVILLE YOUTH GETS INDETERMINATE TERMS ON MORALS COUNT
An 18-year old Mechanicville youth who pleaded guilty 13 Nov to a morals charge, yesterday was given an indeterminate prison sentence from oneday to life. Henry J. Arbour was sentenced by Judge Richard J. Shermanat an adjourned term of Saratoga County Court yesterday at Saratoga Springs. Arbour, who pleaded guilty to a charge of sodomy, will be confined at the Youth Reception Center, Elmira, for treatment. He will not bereleased until pronounced cured. State psychiatrists whoexamined the Mechanicville youth said that he needs treatment and cannot safely be returned to the community in which he lives. When and if he is released, the youth will be placed on parole for the rest of his life, under provisions of a newlaw governing sex offenders
