Notes - Robert Harbour earned a successful living as a bricklayer and providedwell for his wife and at least nine children. He has a serious fall atwork,he fell from a ladder when carrying a hod of mortor and from thenon he had to walk with the aid of crutches, but was still described asa bricklayer at the age of 74. He was a Primitive Methodist and elderof thelocal chapel, but sent his children to the church school. For aperiod of time his wife's father lived with them.
