  Portland Press Herald (ME) -- Monday 24 Apr 1950 ADA LESSARD WEDS AT SACO -- BECOMES BRIDE OF ROLAND ARBOUR Saco, 23 April -- Miss Ada Lessard, daughter of Mrs. Elsie Butler, 21 Rumery Street, and Roland J. Arbour, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Arbour,88 Graham Street, Biddeford, were married Saturday at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Church. The Rev. Albert Charette officiated at the double-ring ceremony and Mrs. Edgar Carrier was organist. Given in marriage by her brother Arthur Lessard, the bride wore a gown of white satin with a PeterPan collar, lace waistline, and bouffant skirt. Her finger-tip veil fell from a satin crown and she carried a prayer book with a white orchid. Mrs. Geraldin Labranche, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor, adn the bridegroom was attended by his father. Sixty guests attended a reception following the ceremonyat the home of the bride. Following a wedding trip, the couple will reside at 21 Rummery Street. Mrs. Arbour attended Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes School and is employed by the Mitchell Shoe Company. The bridegroom attended Dover, NH, schools and is employed by the Saco-Lowell Shops.
