ARBOUR, Lucien -- The family announces with sorrow his death, Saturday,25 August 2001, in Sudbury, at the age of 84 years. Son of the late Oscar Arbour and of the late Albina Arbour (nee Beaudry). Husband of the late Rose Arbour (née Laurin). Predeceased by his daughter Paulette Arbour. Dear brother of Alice Corriveau (husband Charles-Edouard, predeceased), Laurencia Ducharme (husband Rosario, predeceased), Elodia Vincent (husband Herve) all of Sturgeon Falls, Leona Ducharme (husband Donat, predeceased), Adrien(wife Gaetanne)both of Lavigne, Valeda Rainville (husband Leo, predeceased), TheodoraRousseau (husband Roger), Lionel (wife Marie-Rose) all of Sudbury,and Celina Mazur(husband Joseph) of Corfu, New York. Predeceased by his brothers Albert (wife Lauriana of Lavigne), Emile, Leo-Paul, and Edmond (wife Huguette, predeceased), and by his sisters Delima Corriveau (husband Edmour, predeceased), Florida Crepeau(husband Emile, predeceased) andIda Stora (husband Frank, predeceased). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Chantal Larmand Jackson, Ronald Larmand, Daniel Arbour, Alain Arbour, Christine Arbour, Stephanie Arbour, XavierPelletier, Maryse Pelletier, AlexandrePelletier, Natalie Brabant, Andre Brabant, Melanie Brabant, and by his great grandchildren Jonathan ArbourLajambe, Kaitlyn Jackson, and Alexa Arbour. Predeceased by his grandson Kevin Counsell. He wasaformer school trustee with the Catholic SchoolBoard from 1958 to 1961, a municipal councillor for Rayside from 1955 to 1958. He was an active member of the Notre Dame du Rosaire parish council from 1960 until 1987 and member of the Club d'Aged'Or of Blezard Valley. Lucien loved gardening, fishing,and camping on Lake Nipissing. He was a devoted husband and father. He was the greatest dad in the world. The family will receive friends at the Co-Operative Funeral Home, 222 LasalleBlvd., East (atNotre Dame),Sudbury, Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00pm and from 7:00 to 9:30 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, 27 August 2001, at 11:00 am in Notre Dame du Rosaire Church, BlezardValley.
