Nathalie was merely an infant when her family relocated to Ontario. When she was only 14, Nathalie witnessed the marriage of her cousin Verchere GREGOIRE in June 1882 in Port Severn. She married for herself the following year. After their wedding, Nathalie and Trefflé settled in Waubaushene, where most of their children were born. Then between 1902 and 1905, they seem to have moved to Victoria Harbour. Nathalie and Treffléeventually had 14 children, nine daughters and five sons. They also s{OCLC|ementtropolele?ees18 Rivitab» «tab»erved as godparents to four of the family's youngsters: Nathalie's sister Delia in August 1886, nephewJoseph RONDEAU in September 1894, nephew Edgie ARBOUR in February 1897, and niece Pearl ARBOUR in May 1900- all of whom were baptised in Midland. In 1890, Trefflé was a tenant farmer on Concession11, Lot 16, on the outskirts of Waubaushene. By 1901, the family had moved into town and rented a four-room house on ¼ acre of Concession 10, Lot 10, in Waubaushene. Trefflé earned $200 that year OCLC|ementtropolele?ees18 Rivitab» «tab»at the mill. Nathalie died at the young age of 40 - possibly from the difficult birth of her 14th child, as she died just two weeks after his birth. Trefflé was later able to find a stepmother for their 10living children. On 11 April 1910, he marrr OCLC|ementtropolele?ees18 Rivitab» «tab»ied longtime family friend Marie-Jeanne CARLE, who was the widow of Narcisse VINCENT and who had witnessed Trefflé and Natalie'swedding almost 27 years earlier. Trefflé and Mary Jane did not have any children together.
