LEWIS, Margaret -- In Toronto, on Tuesday, 22 May 1973, Margaret Lewis,beloved wife of Kenneth; dear mother of Marjorie, Sister Joan (Congregation of Notre Dame, Quenel, BC), Eileen, Barbara, Theresa, and Kenneth; loving grandmother of 16 grandchildren. Resting at the chapel of Washington and Johnston, 717 Queen St. E (at Broadview), from Thursday at 3pm. Requiem Mass St Ann's Church, Gerrard and DeGross St., on Saturdayat 9 am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.

From Marilyn ARBOUR GOUETT via email on 09 Dec 2010: Just a quick note to let you know of an obit notice I did see in our Toronto Star daily paper yesterday. It was for Marjorie Laurena Marie Bartels. She was the daughter of the late Margaret (Arbour) Lewis and Ken Lewis. Margaret was my fathers sister. We seem to have lost track of some in that family.My mother used to always get a Christmas card from Marjorie's sister Theresa so when my mother passed away we tried to get in touch with herand did not have any luck. I guess she had moved since last Christmas. Idid write to her sister in Guatemala - Sister Joan - because she always sent a lovely letter to mom at Christmas so if I hear from Sister Joan I may find out where she has movedto. Marjorie was in her 75th year - she passed away2 Dec.
