  Marie Flora Arbour was the 8th of 10 children born to Joseph-Merille Arbour and Vitaline Fournier in Victoria Harbour, Ontario. Her baptism took place likely at St Mary's in Victoria Harbour but registered in St Margaret's in Midland on 19 July 1908. Standing as Godparents were John Larmand and Delia Arbour uncle & aunt of the infant. Offiicating was Reverend Louis Arthur Barcelo. Throughout her lifetime she was also knownas Florence. She had 5 children
