RAINVILLE, Valeda (nee Arbour) -- In loving memory of Valeda Rainville (nee Arbour), 84 years, who passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Wednesday, 2 July 2008, at the Pioneer Manor.Beloved wife of the late Leo Rainville (1989). Loving mother of Normand (predeceased), Etienne (wife Carmen Carriere), Gaetan (wife Deborah Williams), DianeLevac (husband Marcel), Denise Courtemanche (husband Normand), Laurent(wife Susanne Stephen), Mario (wife Jocelyn Davis), Carole Fortin (husband Michel), and Yvan (wife Elaine Masson). Cherished grandmother of Lynne, Giselle, Marc, Josee, Lisa, Jeffrey, Andre, Chantal, Nathalie, Mireille (predeceased), Celine, Amy, Holly, Eric, Julie, Yvan, Phillipe, Ashley, Joshua,and Jasmine, and great-grandmother of Dominic, Griffin, Garret, Kaylee, Gavin, Hunter, Kayla, Xander, Mia, Julien, Jade, Brook,Justin, Vincent, Dylan, and Mathieu. Dear daughter of the late Oscar and Albina (nee Beaudry) Arbour both predeceased. Dear sister of Celina Mazur (husband Joe), Theodora Rousseau (husband Roger), Leona Ducharme (husband Donat predeceased), and Lionel Arbour (wife Marie-Rose). Predeceased by 12 brothers and sisters. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Valeda enjoyedquilting "ses fameux piqués" for each one of her children, crocheting, picking blueberries, fishing especially catfish, and traveling by car to visit relatives. Her most memorable times were those spent byagood camp fire on Nepewassi Lake surroà 16milieux défav's18 Rivitab» «tab»unded by family or Sunday gatherings for lunch or dinner. Her door was always open and the table ready, but her greatest joy was seeing and holding her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family meanteverything toher. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Pioneer Manor in Cedar Section for the very good care she received. Funeral service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury, Saturday, 5 July 2008, at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at the Civic Memorial Cemetery.
