      ARBOUR, REBECCA STONE -- A homemaker, wife, mother and tireless volunteer, she died at her home on Friday, 8 Nov 2002, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was 61. Visiting was at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., from 6 pm to 8 pm Sunday. Visiting at the funeral home from 10 am until service at 11 am Monday, conducted by the Rev. Gerald Burns. Interment in the Arbour family plot atRoselawn Memorial Park. Survived by her husband, Robert Arbour, Baton Rouge; a son, Michael Arbourof Dallas and wife Katherine K. Arbour and their three children, Sydney, Katherine, and Caroline; a daughter, Denise A. Tebbe of New Orleans and husband James Tebbe and their three children, Trey, Sarah, and William; a daughter, Jeanne A. Favrot of Birmingham, AL, her husband, Stephen Favrot, and their four children, Elise, Reeves, David, and Stone; and a sister, Barbara Meierhoefer, Washington DC. Preceded in death by her mother, Alexina Stevenson Stone; and father, Oliver L. Stone. She wasa graduate of LSU and a committed community service leader. She had served as treasurer of the Baton Rouge chapter of the Colonial Dames, on the board of the Big River Council of Camp Fire of America andpast president of the Baton Rouge Junior League. She served for 10 years on the national council of Kappa Kappa Gamma fraternity as director of alumni,director of personnel and treasurer and vice president. She was a 20-year volunteer with the United Way of Greater Baton Rouge and on its board of directors, and was chair of various subcommittees of the Community Partnership Division, including the Appropriations Committee and the Admissions Committee. She was a member of St Aloysius Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 4919 Jamestown Ave, Suite 104, Baton Rouge,LA 70808.
