Notes - As a young woman, Nellie lived in Baton Rouge in 1900 and in 1910. After their wedding, Nellie and Joseph settled in Baton Rouge, where they had five children, three daughters and two sons. In 1920,the young family lived at 906 Government Street. They still lived in the community in 1930. Nellie and Joseph seem to have lived in Baton Rouge their whole married lives, as they died there within just one month of each other.[ArbourBook]
