JEANNE D'ARC ARBOUR
Coopers Mills -- Jeanne d'Arc Arbour, 81, of Main Street and formerly of Augusta, died 11 Sep 2000, at Country Manor Nursing Home after a brief illness. She was born 21 April 1919, in Augusta, the daughter of Alfred and Anna (Lacasse) Douin.She attended Augusta schools and was a homemaker most of her life. She had been employed by Bates Manufacturing Co., Edwards Division, for several years and was also a self-employed housekeeper for many years. She was a communicant of St Augustine's Catholic Church in Augusta. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo Arbour; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by a son, Philippe Arbour of Augusta. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9 am Saturday at St Augustine's Catholic Church, with burial in St. Augustine's Cemetery, Augusta. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Care Center, 154 Dresden Ave., Gardiner 04345. Arrangements by Plummer Funeral Home, Augusta.
