ARBOUR, Marietta -- It is with great sadness that her family announces the passing of Marietta Arbour on 30 December 2002, at Scarborough Grace Hospital; in her 98th year. She will be sadly missed byher sister Patricia and her husband Stewart Parsons of Perth, ON, and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Isabelle Purdy, Alfreda Paradise, Azaline Eames, Levina Veary, and Thelma Fell. Friends may call at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglington Avenue West (two lights west of Yonge Street), on Friday, 3 January, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. FuneralMass on Saturday at 11:30 am at St Monica's Church, 44 Broadway Avenue, Toronto. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
Marietta never married and never had any children. --> On 07 Sep 2009, this statement was found to be not entirely correct. A stillborn son was found born to Marietta in 1923.
