  Chilliwack Progress (BC) -- Wednesday 28 Apr 2010 ARBOUR, Eileen It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Mom, Eileen Arbour on April 28th, 2010. Eileen made her home in Terrace, BC and retired to Chilliwack in 1986. Predeceased by her husband Albert (Bert) &son-in-law Doug Thomson. Survived by six daughters Diane (Les) Watmough, Dorothy Thomson Carol (Steve) Reynolds, June (Richard) Steele, Joan (Ernie)Iwaskow, Sharon (Evan) Fitzer, nine grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren. In Terrace Eileen worked for Bert’s Grocery, The Co-op and Safeway. Mom enjoyed serving the public. She always had a friendly smile and a helping hand. In Chilliwack Mom was involved with curling & spent many hours volunteering at the Valley Haven Lodge. No one was more proud of her children & their accomplishments. A special thank you to Dr. Weatherston for all his support and care he gave our Mom. By request aprivate family service will be held at a later date.In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Alzheimer Society. Mom, may your flowers bloom in heaven as they did for your garden. P.S. Say hi to Dad.
