23 March 1897 -- Born in Bonaventure, QC, Josaphat-"Ernest" ARBOUR was the 2nd of 11 children born to farmer Levi ARBOUR and Marie-Zephora POIRER. Yes, weprofiled his brother Armand 3 days ago. This brother, however, seems to have stayed where we can find him, although he did move around a bit. Ernest was 28-years old when he married 20-year old Marie-Blanche-"Yvonne" DUBE on 15 April 1925 in Mont-Joli, QC. They had 12 children, 7 daughters and 5 sons, from 1926 through 1941 and beyond. One might wonder about Ernest's occupation, as the family moved from Rimouski County, to Montreal, to Temiscouata County, to Montreal, to Abitibi County, and finally back to Montreal. Yvonne was 55-years oldwhen she died in Montreal on 24 July 1960. Ernest then married 72-year old Pamela LUSSIER, widow of Hector LEPAGE, in Montreal on 24 July 1971. He outlived her when she died on 31 March 1978. Ernest was 87-years old when he finally met his demise in Montreal on 02 November 1984. Both Ernest andYvonne were buried in St-Francois-d'Assise Catholic Cemetery in Montreal. We have only 4 known grandchildren for this couple but are sure that there are moreout there.
